I had so much fun with these ladies. GORGEOUS!!!!  I kept thinking about  my Mom's family - her Mom and her sisters. I was reminded of so many memories but most of all wishing we would have more pictures of all of them together. (some are no longer with us) We can find so many reasons to be busy and not have time to do a family picture. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that these ladies make it a point to do a family picture once a year.  They also spend the day together.  Time goes by so quickly and we must savor every moment.

Turning 13 is a big deal when we are growing up. I love that this Mom wanted to document this special time for her twin daughters and 4 of their closest friends.  Parents, this is a great idea for a birthday celebration as kids get older.  Also, these girls were very brave.  We had this day planned for weeks. Naturally, on this day the temperature was around 30 degrees with 23 mph winds out of the North. The weather channel said it felt like 13 degrees.  You would never know it was that cold by looking at these pictures.

Rascly squirrels

Zach got a bird feeder for Christmas. I LOVE and feel so BLESSED that he has a love of nature and all that God created.  Sometimes we get a bonus with the bird feeder which can be a huge shortcoming for the birds in our backyard.  However, 1 of these images won me my 1st photo contest so I guess those naughty little squirrels aren't so bad.
